Areas of focus: Condominium Law and Homeowner Association Law
Janet is a partner in the firm and concentrates her practice in the representation of condominium and homeowner associations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Her practice includes all facets of community association representation, ranging from document review and interpretations, administration and facilitation of association meetings, enforcement of covenants and restrictions and lien enforcement matters.
Janet played a significant role in passing legislation amending the R.I. Condominium Act to provide Rhode Island condominiums with a super lien for unpaid condominium assessments, giving associations an effective tool remedying the problem of delinquent common expenses. As a member of the Community Associations Institute New Hampshire Chapter’s Legislative Action Committee, she has been also served to accomplish the adoption of a super lien for New Hampshire condominium associations.
