Areas of Focus: Civil litigation and Condominium Law
Chris is a senior associate in the firm with over 20 years of experience litigating in Massachusetts and Washington state courts. He has represented condominiums, homeowners’ associations, property management companies, developers, contractors, real estate agents, architects, and professional engineers in a wide range of cases in state and federal court. His specific areas of practice include construction defects, defense of directors & officers, condominium enforcement, and other condominium and property disputes.
Chris has successfully represented clients in both state and federal court, at both the trial and appellate level. He has successfully defended homeowners’ associations in personal injury cases, discrimination claims, property disputes, wrongful death actions, voting and board election cases, and numerous construction defect claims. In addition, he successfully defended a homeowners’ association before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in a federal discrimination lawsuit.
Prior to joining the firm, Chris practiced condominium litigation in the Pacific Northwest for 10+ years. He and his family returned to New England after the pandemic. Outside the office, Chris enjoys sailing, golfing, and coaching his daughter’s youth soccer team.
