paul_bAreas of focus:  Condominium Law and Lien Enforcement

Paul is an Associate in the firm’s Condominium Practice Group, specializing in lien enforcement. Experienced in both lien enforcement and bankruptcy law, Paul has tried cases in trial courts in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Paul’s practice includes the interpretation of condominium documents and enforcement of condominium rules. He has also executed many superlien foreclosure actions on behalf of condominium association clients.

Before joining the firm in 2003, he represented creditors in all aspects of collection law at Lustig, Glaser & Wilson in Newton, MA. Paul gained   general business law experience at Badger, Dolan, Parker & Cohen, where he worked for three years (1994-1997) in the firm’s civil law practice. Before entering law school, he worked as a residential and commercial real estate appraiser.

Active in local affairs in his community, Paul is the former chairman of the Town of Hanover Board of Assessors. He has also coached baseball, basketball and soccer for the Hanover Youth Athletic Association since 2004 and currently serves as a board member of HYAA.

Paul’s recent representative matters include:

  • Tried lien enforcement cases in Lawrence District Court resulting in $13,000+ judgment for condominium association and successfully collected same.
  • Tried lien enforcement cases in Lynn District Court resulting in $15,000 + judgment for condominium association and successfully collected same.
  • Tried lien enforcement cases in Norfolk Superior Court resulting in $15,000 + judgment for condominium association and successfully collected same.

Paul’s published appellate decisions include:  Fleet National Bank v. Smith, Mass.App.Div. 163 (1999).
