We congratulate MEEB’s Ed Allcock who was elected by his peers to serve a two-year term on the CCAL Board of Governors. The Board of Governors mission is to manage CCAL’s recognition program and to govern the program’s quality and standards.  CCAL includes lawyers who demonstrate skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of community association law and who are dedicated to advance the betterment of the communities they serve.  Fewer than 175 attorneys throughout the United States have been granted membership.

Ed has co-chaired CCAL/CAI National Law Seminar Committee for both the 2015 and 2016 Law Seminars and was also a member of that committee and continues as immediate past chair for 2017. Ed is also a member of the Board of Directors CAI-NE Chapter since 2016 and continues to serve as co-chair of the CAI Rhode Island Legislative Action Committee since 2008.   Ed have spoken at numerous CAI sponsored events in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and has written extensively for Condo Media which is the CAI affiliated publication for the New England Chapter.

We expect that Ed will prove to be a great asset to the leadership of CCAL going forward and Ed looks forward to advising on future developments, initiatives and outreach by CCAL during the next two years.
